Sono nato nel 1964 a Milano dove vivo e lavoro, la mia passione per la fotografia inizia da ragazzino quando fotografavo con compatte "improbabili" finché ho iniziato a fare qualche scatto serio con la Voigtlander di mio padre. Con i miei primi risparmi mi sono finalmente preso una reflex tutta mia! Anche se rumorosa quando scattava... Con questa macchina ho fissato momenti di vacanze, viaggi, amici e parenti ma ho iniziato a voler di più e negli anni seguenti ho acquistato altre 2 reflex, seguito un corso di foto di moda presso il Superstudio di Milano, frequentato altri studi fotografici e trovato ciò che mi attirava di più, i particolari. Le mie ottiche preferite sono sempre state macro e tele. Con gli anni, specialmente visitando mostre fotografiche e di pittura e conoscendo tramite libri e internet una grande quantità di fotografi e pittori, ho trovato l'ispirazione giusta per le mie foto. Da qualche anno posseggo una reflex digitale e utilizzando le caratteristiche e le funzioni che ha, sono riuscito a portare in immagini reali parte di quello che ho nella testa, nel mio immaginario: foto astratte, impressioniste, attimi. E poi c'è sempre una parte "precisina", la parte grafica...

I was born in 1964 in Milan where I currently live and work. My passion for photography started when I was a young boy. I photographed with "improbable" compacts until I started doing some serious shooting with my father’s Voigtlander. With my first savings I finally picked up a Reflex of my own! Though noisy when shots were taken ... With this camera I captured moments dedicated to my holidays, travel, friends and relatives. But soon I started wanting more and in the following years I bought other 2 reflex cameras, followed a fashion course at Milan’s Superstudio, attended other photography studios and found out that what attracted me most were details. My favorite lenses have always been macro and tele. Over the years, I visited photo and art exhibitions and read a lot about photographers and painters in books and on the internet, This is how I found the inspiration for my photos. In recent years I have owned a digital Reflex and by using its features and functions I managed to transfer what I have in mind into actual pictures, i.e., abstract photos, impressionistic and captured moments. And then there is always the more “defined” part: the graphics...
